Jack Forsey

Jack Forsey

Over the past 40 years, I’ve held a variety of positions here at Forsey’s. I started at 10 years old as the official company ‘table duster’ and ‘envelope stamper.’ Since then, I’ve also held the titles of dock worker, white glove delivery installer, janitor, gardener, delivery and service manager, office and operations manager, sales floor designer, sales manager, and vice president. After leaving for a number of years to finish school I also worked in service, education and banking, before returning to Forseys in 2010 and ended up purchasing the company from my father in 2020.

If there’s one constant in a family business, it’s that some things never change. I still hold all the positions I’ve worked in the past, including official company ‘table duster.’ I love having the ability to work with my team on the ground in each department daily because that’s what makes a family business special…. wearing a lot of hats. As a third-generation business owner, I take immense pride in what we do here and strive daily to meet our customers’ expectations and uphold what we have built.

I love high-quality furniture and merchandising and consider myself a ‘product guy.’ My preferred design aesthetics are either Mission/Arts and Crafts or Mid Century Modern, depending on the space. I enjoy discussing design history and putting together rooms, especially for our showrooms. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, watching scary movies with my wife, and traveling.
